Uralvagonzavod

The construction of Uralvagonzavod began in 1931 in Nizhny Tagil. In 1936, the first heavy-duty wagons rolled off the assembly line. In 1941, on the basis of the plant and 12 evacuated enterprises, the Ural Tank Plant No. 183 named after V.I. Comintern, which began to produce military products. In 1984, it received its modern name - Uralvagonzavod.
